Rachael joined Bird & Co in 1997 as an office junior and left in 2001. After a short period away, Rachael returned in 2004 and joined the firm as a Paralegal. Rachael has extensive experience in a Paralegal role and has completed her Degree in Law LLB (Hons). Rachael has also taken the new route towards qualifying as a Solicitor and has passed the SQE1 and is now working towards passing the SQE2 hoping to qualify as a Solicitor in 2025.
Rachael works in the Conveyancing Department based in the Grantham Office.
Rachael handles all types of property transactions including:-
- Dealing with all types of residential sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold properties.
- Transfers of properties and remortgages.
- Sales and purchases of commercial land and buildings.
- Sales and purchases of businesses.
- Sales and purchases of agricultural land.
- Acting on behalf of Landlords and Tenants.
Rachael’s conveyancing work is supervised by the Head of Conveyancing, Daniel Chard.
Rachael is also a Police Station Accredited Representative, having spent several years working within our commercial team. She occasionally assists the criminal department with covering the police station rota out of office hours and her work in this area is supervised by our Senior Partner, Christopher Milligan.
