Our Commitment to Clients during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Posted

We are now opening all of our offices to the general public from Monday 17th May 2021.

We will be open during our normal business hours.

We will retain the safety measures set out on the link page but the offices will be open and clients can attend for appointments and for deliveries or to make appointments.

We are open for business and continue to offer a full range of legal services.  All of our offices are open and are staffed.

Our team are happy to meet with you in-person at our offices or virtually, online. We are committed to providing the highest quality of customer service and legal advice, whichever way you choose to utilise our services.

Contact us to discuss how we can help you with your legal matter. Give us a call, email enquiries@birdandco.co.uk or fill in our online enquiry form and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.

Meetings with us during Coronavirus/COVID-19

Our offices are open and our teams will be available to meet with you in-person during our office hours: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5.30pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30 pm.

If you would prefer, we can also continue to meet with you virtually, using video link software such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, WhatsApp as well as communicating with you by telephone and email.

We are happy to use the methods of communication you are most comfortable with.

Meetings by appointment only

As some coronavirus restrictions are still in place, where possible, please call or email our offices first for an appointment so that we can take all the necessary steps to keep you safe.

Safety during face-to-face meetings

We take all necessary precautions to make our office COVID-secure in line with Government coronavirus guidance and restrictions.

We will provide you with up-to-date guidance before your meeting so you will know exactly what to expect. This will include information on:

COVID-19 symptoms

Please do not attend a face-to-face meeting at our offices if you or someone in your household have:

If one of the above applies to you, you should stay at home and follow Government rules on self-isolating and getting a COVID-19 test.

Face coverings

In line with Government rules, you should wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth when visiting our offices, unless you are exempt. Our team will also wear face coverings for everyone’s safety.

Social distancing

While at our offices we ask that you follow social distancing guidelines at all times and keep two metres distance between yourself and others.

Meeting attendees

We ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to our offices, other than young children where there is no one else available to care for them. Anyone else may be asked to wait outside to keep them and everyone at our offices safe.

Our commitment to you during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic

We remain committed to providing an excellent customer service, using technology to our advantage wherever necessary. As always, we promise to:

  • Respond to calls and emails promptly
  • Provide regular updates so you won’t be left in the dark about the progress of your matter
  • Provide up-to-date advice about whether COVID-19 could affect your matter (for example, some property registrations at the Land Registry may take longer due to delays processing applications)
  • Provide whatever support we can – whether it be legal or emotional – to help you through the challenges facing you at the moment
