We are open for business and continue to offer a full range of legal services.  All of our offices are open and are staffed.

While we may not always be able to meet with you in the traditional way, we are still committed to providing the highest quality of customer service and legal advice.

Contact us to discuss how we can help you with your legal matter. Give us a call, email enquiries@birdandco.co.uk or fill in our online enquiry form and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.

Meetings with us during Coronavirus/COVID-19

We continue to be able to take on new instructions and are able to meet all of our clients by Zoom, Teams, Skype, WhatsApp or by telephone. We are happy to use the methods of communication you are most comfortable with.

From 5 November 2020, we will be restricting face-to-face meetings at our offices.  Our teams will still be working from the offices and occasionally from home and are available to meet with you virtually during our office hours: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5.30pm and Fridays 9am – 4.30 pm.

Visiting our offices during Coronavirus/COVID-19

Once the national lockdown has been lifted, we will be happy to welcome clients back to our offices by appointment and will welcome clients calling in to see us. Get in touch if you would like to talk about how we can help you during these unsettling times.

Appointments for essential matters only

Wherever possible, for your safety and the safety of our team, we will conduct meetings and provide our advice over the phone, via email or instant messaging, or using video link software.

However, where essential, we can safely accommodate face-to-face meetings where they are allowed under Government coronavirus restrictions.

Meetings by appointment only

During this phase of National Lockdown which commenced on 5th November 2020, Please do not come to our offices without an appointment as we cannot take all the necessary steps to keep you safe.

Safety during face-to-face meetings

If we arrange a face-to-face meeting, we will take all necessary precautions to make our office COVID-secure in line with Government coronavirus guidance and restrictions.

We will provide you with up-to-date guidance before your meeting so you will know exactly what to expect. This will include information on:

COVID-19 symptoms

Please do not attend a face-to-face meeting at our offices if you or someone in your household have:

If one of the above applies to you, you should stay at home and follow Government rules on self-isolating and getting a COVID-19 test.

Face coverings

In line with Government rules, you should wear a face covering that covers your nose and mouth when visiting our offices, unless you are exempt. Our team will also wear face coverings for everyone’s safety.

Social distancing

While at our offices we ask that you follow social distancing guidelines at all times and keep two metres distance between yourself and others.

Hand sanitiser and hygiene

We will provide hand sanitiser upon your arrival to our offices. If possible, we also encourage you to bring your own pens to sign any documents.

Meeting attendees

We ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to our offices, other than young children where there is no one else available to care for them. Anyone else may be asked to wait outside to keep them and everyone at our offices safe.

Our commitment to you during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic

While our offices are currently closed, we remain committed to providing an excellent customer service, using technology to our advantage wherever possible. As always, we promise to:

  • Respond to calls and emails promptly
  • Provide regular updates so you won’t be left in the dark about the progress of your matter
  • Provide up-to-date advice about whether COVID-19 could affect your matter (for example, some property registrations at the Land Registry may take longer due to delays processing applications)
  • Provide whatever support we can – whether it be legal or emotional – to help you through the challenges facing you at the moment
