Why don't you need a conveyancer based in East Staffordshire?
In the old days you used your local solicitor. You would visit their office in the centre of East Staffordshire, and all documents would be hand-produced and posted or delivered by hand.
That service came at a price, but the truth is that it is no longer needed. With modern technology such as scanning, emailing and even Skype or Facetime video calls there is no need to use your local solicitor. Your conveyancer can be based anywhere and still provide a great service - even if he or she is in an office many miles away from East Staffordshire or perhaps not even in Staffordshire.
We have successfully dealt with thousands of conveyancing transactions all over the country, even with clients from the other side of the world. It is not unknown for us to talk to clients outside the UK using Skype, and once we had clients in Thailand talking to us through an interpreter in New Zealand!
There will be no need for you to visit our offices or hand deliver documents. You need never leave East Staffordshire - our conveyancers will talk you through the process via phone and email, and everything works just as smoothly as it would if we were just down the road.

Fees for conveyancing in East Staffordshire
Our fees are transparent and, so long as the situation does not change (for example so long as your property doesn't turn out to be leasehold when we thought it was freehold) the fee we quote is the fee you will be charged.
We don't add extras on for things like photocopying, postage, or the like. Those are our overheads and we don't pass them on to you.
All our conveyancing fees are dependent on the nature and value of the transaction, so we naturally charge a bit more for more complicated and high value work. However, the fee charged will be the same for a customer in Newcastle as it would be for someone in London, or indeed in East Staffordshire.
There are some aspects of our conveyancing fees which we can't change. Fees charged by other bodies such as HM Land Registry, or by HMRC for Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) are out of our control.
Introduction to East Staffordshire
East Staffordshire is a local government district with borough status in Staffordshire. As of mid-2014, the district has a population of 115,663. The two main towns in the area are Burton-upon-Trent and Uttoxeter, which have populations of 72,299 and 12,023 respectively. Generally, Burton is very well known for its famous brewing industry, whereas Uttoxeter is also well known for its racecourse.
Like many British local government districts, East Staffordshire was formed on the 1st April 1974 through a merger of the former county borough of Burton-upon-Trent with the Urban District of Uttoxeter, and the Rural District of Tutbury and Uttoxeter.
Being the area's largest town, Burton-upon-Trent (more colloquially known as Burton) acts as the economic hub of the area. Brewing has been a part of the town's trade for centuries, and still plays a large part today, and there are currently 8 breweries who are based in Burton. Coors Brewers Ltd is a major one, who produce Carling, Worthington Bitter and Marstons. There is also Burton Bridge Brewery, as well as the corporate headquarters of Punch Tavern plc and the Spirit Pub Company. Aside brewing, manufacturing also plays a large role in the town, and a Marmite factory is present in Burton, mainly due to it being a by product of the brewing industry, and the tyre manufacturer Pirelli is also a large employer in the town.
Another player in the town's industry is retail, which is reflected in the towns monthly footfall, which was 1.6 million between October 2011 and January 2012. An weekly market has been held each Thursday in the town since 1200, and since then, a farmer's market, a fish market and an outdoor market have all been added.
Cooper's Square shopping centre also provides a firm basis of retail, housing over 70 stores, including HMV, BHS, GAME and The Carphone Warehouse.
Burton also accommodates the ares main transport facilities, including Burton-on-Trent railway station. The station is operated by East Midlands Trains, however all trains are operated by CrossCountry, and there are train services to Cardiff Central, Birmingham, Nottingham as well as more long distance services to Bristol Temple Meads, Newcastle, Leeds, Plymouth and Edinburgh Waverley. There are also services every half hour to Nottingham and Birmingham.
There is also a reliable bus service operated by Arriva Midlands.
