Commercial, Employment and Litigation Executive

Maria has a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at The Nottingham Law School and is a MBA in International Management and Business Administration. Maria is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and is also a qualified Translator and Interpreter in Spanish and French.


Maria provides commercial support and letters of advice for our business clients helping to ensure that the interests of the business are protected whenever entering into new legal agreements.


Maria supports our business clients with professional HR and employment law consultancy advice including the review of employment contracts and policies, the management of internal policies, and the resolution of workplace conflicts.
Maria helps to resolve a variety of Employment Law disputes through our Worker Claims Care Plans service on behalf of employees and specialises in all forms of Discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010.

Dispute Resolution

Maria provides litigation support in a wide variety of Civil and Contested Probate claims assisting clients in the completion of all case management directions, preparing cases for trial and attending court with Counsel.

Further Information

Maria first studied Labour Law and Commercial Law in Madrid. She has a degree in Hospitality, Tourism and Interpretation (Spanish – English – French) and worked as official interpreter and Contract Executive for several Companies and Cultural Departments of Barcelona, Madrid and the City of London where she moved to live in 1986. Subsequently, Maria studied in the UK obtaining a 2:1 in BA (Hons) in Business Information Systems at Nottingham Trent University where she obtained an award for the Best Information System developed for the Rushcliffe Borough Council.

In her spare time Maria enjoys travelling and speaking in foreign languages including Portuguese and Italian. She also enjoys entertaining and keeping in touch with friends or family using her gastronomic skills and strolling in her garden to unwind.
