Jerry joined Bird & Co. Solicitors in April 2005 as an Associate Solicitor, located at our Newark Office, within the Criminal Law Department. He qualified as a solicitor in September 1996, having completed his studies, at the Nottingham Law School, and his traineeship, with a Nottingham law firm.

Jerry specialises in criminal advocacy and is a member of the Duty Solicitor Scheme. He also undertakes other types of casework namely: Environmental Law defence, Agricultural Law defence, Road Traffic offences, and Education Law. His working life prior to joining Bird & Co. Solicitors has included fifteen years public sector employment with a Local Authority and ten years in the private sector with a Lincoln based law firm.

He is married with two grown up children and his interests include house restoration, golf, and following the fortunes of Ipswich Town football club.
